• Open `/dashboard/billing` and review the Current plan card, renewal date, and any scheduled change already on the subscription.
• If you are upgrading from an active paid plan, use the in-app upgrade flow and confirm the change before Stripe opens the final step.
• If you are moving down a tier or canceling to Free, use the downgrade or cancellation flow and note that the change is normally scheduled for the next renewal date, not applied instantly.
