• Open `/dashboard/alerts` and start with unread items, because that is where new work or change usually appears first.
• Use the filter row to switch between all unread items, warnings, success, info, and read alerts.
• Open the CTA on any alert that needs investigation, then return and mark it as read once the team has handled it.
• Use Mark all as read only when the current batch has genuinely been reviewed, not because the queue looks annoying.

• If the page only shows an upgrade banner, the organization does not have Smart Alerts on its current plan.
